Starting the Team

The beginning of the season was a little rocky for many reasons. It's always hard finding committed women soccer players who can juggle school work, soccer, and sometimes other work as well. Being committed is a big part of being on Howard Community College's soccer team which is why it is important to spend a lot of time with the team and get to know them. Meeting everyone for the first time can be a lot to process, but once everyone starts spending everyday together, they get to be closer friends. It's sad for individuals who do not have the time and opportunity to play soccer at Howard Community College because it is a great opportunity to be a part of and it's a lot of fun. Meeting the coaches and starting practices to get ready for the season just get the players really excited for the long and fun journey ahead.
